1. Data controller

2. Data collected

We collect only the information you voluntarily enter in one of our forms:

• your first and last name;
• your e-mail address;
• your phone number, if you choose to give it;
• the type of enquiry and, where relevant, the fragrance concerned;
• for the trade form: the company, the role and the VAT number;
• the content of your message.

No profiling, no automated decision-making, no collection without your knowledge. The site asks for no banking details and no sensitive data within the meaning of Article 9 GDPR; please do not include any in your messages.

3. Purpose and legal basis

This data serves solely to handle your enquiry and reply to you. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by ticking the box provided before sending, and, for trade exchanges, the legitimate interest in answering a commercial approach (Article 6(1)(f)).

Your data is used for no unsolicited prospecting and is never sold, rented or transferred.

4. Retention period

The site stores no data: the form simply forwards your message by e-mail, with no database and no application log. The message received is kept in our mailbox for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, and at most twelve months after the last exchange, unless a legal obligation requires otherwise.

5. Recipients and processors

Your data is accessible only to the people at International Belgian Business handling your enquiry. Two technical processors are involved:

• Hostinger International Ltd. (Larnaca, Cyprus), which hosts the site and delivers the form e-mails;
• Google Ireland Ltd., whose Google Fonts service serves the site’s typefaces. As a result, your IP address is sent to Google when pages are displayed. This service sets no cookies.

Apart from these services, which fall under transfer frameworks compliant with the GDPR, no data is transferred outside the European Economic Area.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR and the Belgian law of 30 July 2018, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise it, write to us at info@internationalbelgian.com. We reply within one month.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority, rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels — dataprotectionauthority.be.

7. Cookies and local storage

This site sets no cookies. It uses no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no analytics tool and no tracking network. No consent banner is therefore needed.

The filters you apply in the collection are written into the page address (so that you can share it or bookmark it) and are stored nowhere else.

Should an analytics tool be added in future, a compliant consent banner would be put in place and this page updated beforehand.

This policy may be amended to reflect changes to the site or to the regulations. The version in force is the one published on this page.
